Carrot Sauce
Healthy and Simple
1 carrot
Fresh basil
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup oil
Bring the carrot to a boil, then peel and slice. Blend in the blender and add the rest of the ingredients. If too thick, add some of the water you used to cook it, until you get a cream.
Use to garnish salads, stuff tomatoes, or serve with canapés. Also good to serve with rice.

Nut Sauce Brown the flour in a skillet, stir occasionally with a wooden spoon until it gets the same color than the nuts. Leave to cool. In a saucepan, heat water and salt, bring it to a boil and pour into the flour. Simmer 10 minutes.
