1.5 kg. of chicken parts or bone-in breast halves
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon cold butter (cut in small pieces)
2 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of dried leaf oregano, crumbled
1/2 tsp of dried leaf thyme, crumbled
1/4 tsp of pepper
First, wash chicken and remove skin from it.
Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, pepper, oregano, thyme, and salt.
Dip chicken in melted butter and then coat with crumb mixture.
Place chicken in a single layer, not touching, in a greased shallow baking dish. Dot with butter and bake at 350° for about 1 hour until chicken is tender.
